Spartan Ski Trip

I know its no Boyne Mountain but I thought it would be a fun event to try and get a group together to go ski/board/tube for the day at Hidden Valley Ski Resort, 17409 Hidden Valley Drive, Wildwood MO 63025 on Saturday, February 11, 2012. I will need to get firm commitments from people by a week before to allow us to get group rates at the hill. Assuming we have more than 15 folks the prices will be as follows:

Lift Ticket for the day - $35
Ski/Board Rental - $25

If enough people(8) want to take lessons we can get ski lessons for $5/person and boarding lessons for $15/person. I would be happy to teach people to ski as well if desired.

Tubing if people are interested is $26 for 2 hours for 1-14 people or $22 for 15 and above.

At the winery

Recently, a group of 25 of us enjoyed the gorgeous wineries that are just outside of town in Augusta Missouri. On Saturday October 8, we headed out on a bus to the wineries of Mount Pleasant and Balducci Vineyards. At Mount Pleasant fellow alumni, Tim Cunningham was the featured artist of the day. The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Float Trip 2011

This summer ten alumni from the young alumni group went to the Huzzah Valley Resort for a Float Trip. This was a really great opportunity for fellow Spartans to share their love of the outdoors and their love of the school. In mid-July we spent two nights camping and Saturday floating down the river.
